The animals at Chateau Feely provide services and entertainment
and they are photogenic
Chickens that eat insects, scraps and provide eggs, a cat that keeps the rodents down (if you read Grape Expectations you’ll know we need that) and a dog that provide guidance on our family friendly self guided walking loop (not! – dont follow Dora – she will take you the long route!)
Guims is the Chateau Feely hunter cat. He has brought back rabbits almost the size of himself to share with Dora, Chateau Feely’s delightful vineyard dog.
Leah the tabby cat, very pretty and very cute but a little timid at first.
The chickens – sussex and browns are great consumers of scraps and generate good matter for our compost heap as well as offering eggs.
Chateau Feely also has many insects and wild animals that complement this menagerie. We all look forward to welcoming you here!
