Climate Reality Tour Paris 2025 -Al Gore gifted Caro’s book
It’s a very special weekend when your book is given to an ex-Vice President of the USA and holder of the Nobel Peace Prize as a birthday gift.
Marion Enzer (French leader The Climate Reality Project Europe) gave Caro Feely’s book Cultivating Change: Regenerating Land and Love in the Age of Climate Crisis part of 
the Vineyard Series to Mr Al Gore at the The Climate Reality Project 2025 Paris Training where Caro was a participant and mentor.
Al Gore started The Climate Reality Project in 2006 as a way to raise awareness of Climate Change. The Climate Reality Tour Paris was a three day training packed with powerful speakers, passion, and a network of climate leaders. What follows are key takeaways and tools that can be used by everyone everywhere.

For a taste consider just one slide in the two hour presentation – did you realise that sea level rise comes from from 4 elements? – not just the melting ice:
o Thermal expansion 42%
o Melting glaciers 21%
o Greenland melting 15%
o Antarctic melting 8%
Look at the graph below to see how much the oceans are holding of the extra heat (generated by our growing CO2 emissions blanket) and how the graph goes up exponentially in the ocean’s surface layer 0 to 700m. This also creates ocean acidification which leads to all sorts of problems eg sea creatures can’t form their shells.
After the presentation Al Gore hosted a panel with Christiana Figueres– and Laurence Tubiana – two of the key architects of the Paris agreement in 2015 . We are facing an exponential increase in threats and an exponential increase in solutions – which way we go and what tips the balance is up to each of us and all of us. Citizen involvement is key.

Consume Less (more mindfully)
Levke Caesar – highly qualified scientist & great communicator shared powerful simple messages – ‘consume less guys!’ – ‘there is enough for everyone if we take what we need and not what we want’. But as Al Gore said we are up against massive global advertising pushing more consumption so protect yourself from that by thinking about your media consumption.
Change Takes Time and Requires Courage
