Gold trophy for Château Feely at the first national wine tourism competition in France
Château Feely won a gold trophy at the first national wine tourism competition organised in France. The coveted awards organized by the first Terre de Vins wine tourism trophies were unveiled at an event organized at the Ministry of Europe and International Affairs in Paris on Friday, March 29, 2019. A jury of eleven professionals evaluated 350 candidates to distinguish ten finalists, then a gold, silver and bronze trophy in each category.
Château Feely won the gold trophy for the grand prize in the Pedagogy and Enhancement of the Environment category and finalist in a second category: Stay at the property. The news comes in an exciting week in which Château Feely releases its 2019 wines and has also been named the winner of the top 10 wine tourism challenges in Bergerac Duras.

Gold Trophy winners include estates from all over France
The jury selected a gold, a silver and a bronze medal in each category and 3 special prizes. The winners of the gold trophy are estates from Bergerac (South West), Bordeaux, Burgundy, Cahors, Champagne, Languedoc and Loire Valley.
Nine Gold Grand Prizes were awarded to:
- Château de Pennautier (Cabardès, Languedoc) in the category Architecture & Landscapes
- Maison Ackerman (Saumur, Loire Valley) in the Art & Culture category
- Château Venus (Graves, Bordeaux) in the Creative Initiatives & Originalities category
- Champagne Pannier (Champagne) in the category Business Wine Tourism & Private Events
- Château Feely (Saussignac Bergerac, Dordogne, South West) in the category Pedagogy & enhancement of the environment
- Château Guiraud (Sauternes, Bordeaux) in the category Restoration in the Vineyard
- Château de Mercurès (Cahors) in the category Property stay
- Cité du Champagne Collet (Champagne) in the category Valorisation of appellations & institutions
- Chablisienne (Chablis, Burgundy) in the category Family vineyard
The jury awarded three special prizes:
- The Special International Influence Prize was awarded to the Cité du vin de Bordeaux
- The Wine Tourism Commitment Award was awarded to the House of Hennessy (Cognac)
- The Wine Tourism Pioneers Prize was awarded to Maison Olivier Leflaive (Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy)
