Extra peps thanks to frost? Or sparkling rosé?
Harvest weekend 2017 started innocently enough with light drizzle and flashy rain gear. What led to the transformation of the Lion D’Or, a very traditional French restaurant into a wild dance floor; a pop-up nightclub in sleepy Saussignac? Was it extra energy from less picking thanks to the frost? Or the new sparkling rosé? Or all down to Anne-Marie and Ethan’s collaboration on fab dance music? (including Abba yeah!)
a little picking (overseen by Dora)
And a little picnicking (overseen by Ace Team Maeve, Brigit, Sylvia, Chiara, Sophia and Ellie)
And a little pontificating (can’t keep those Feelys quiet for long)
then a little reclining… (never seen on harvest weekend!)
And some fine dining
AND Shazam! Music and dance!
Our DJ team Ethan and AnneMarieWho is that man from Budapest?!
Wahoooo! A big thank you to everyone, our wonderful vineshareholders and guests, the home team Ian, Brigit and Chiara Wilson, Maeve Dunne, Conor, Ethan and Michael Robinson, Sophia and Ellie Feely, Sylvia Lonsdale and Luc and Martine Merlin at the Lion D’Or.
To conclude no matter the reason for it we’ll be sure to have a bit of dance next year including some beautiful Irish dancing (please Norma and Maeve!).
