🧺 Sunday – Market Morning & Castle Games
Start your stay with one of the region’s most charming experiences:

Visit the lively Issigeac Sunday market, one of the prettiest in southwest France. Wander medieval streets, pick up picnic treats, and soak up the atmosphere.
In the afternoon:

Head to Château de Bridoire — a huge favourite with families.

Expect giant outdoor games, puzzles, and hands-on activities for all ages in a beautiful château setting.
Evening:
Return to Chateau Feely for a relaxed supper and a good night’s sleep.
🚣 Monday – Canoe Adventure & Village Evening

Head to Gardonne for a canoe trip with Canoë Attitude.

Paddle the gentle stretch from Lamonzie to Gardonne — perfect for families, with calm water, swimming spots, and plenty of fun along the way.
Tip: Book ahead in peak season.
Evening:

Join the winegrowers’ social evening in Saussignac village.

A relaxed, welcoming event with local food, wine, and space for children to play — a real taste of village life.
🏰 Tuesday – Castles & Big Adventures
For Tuesday, choose your adventure:
Option 1 (Full Day – spectacular but 1h30 drive):

Visit Château de Castelnaud — an unforgettable medieval fortress with weapons, towers, and incredible views.

Combine with: The beautiful town of Sarlat or the stunning Jardins de Marqueyssac (great for children to explore)
Option 2 (Closer to home – easier day):

Visit Château de Duras (just 20 minutes away) - A fantastic, less crowded castle with interactive exhibits and plenty of space to explore.
🛍️ Wednesday – Bergerac & Pizza Night

Spend the morning at Bergerac market, perfect for picking up local treats.

Wander the old town, stop for ice cream, and enjoy the relaxed riverside atmosphere.

Evening:

Head to Saussignac village for Wednesday pizza night. Informal, fun, and very family-friendly — children can play while you enjoy a glass of local wine.
🌿 Thursday – Vineyard Adventures & Lunch in the Village

Enjoy a slow morning at Chateau Feely. Take a walk around the vineyard — perfect for families. Fun idea: Set up a treasure hunt for the kids among the vines 🍇

Lunch: Walk up to Saussignac village and enjoy a relaxed meal at Le Mélange (booking ahead is essential) — seasonal, welcoming, and just a short stroll away.

Afternoon: Rest, swim, or simply enjoy the space and calm.
🚶 Friday – Walk & Wind Down

Enjoy a slower final day.
