Château Feely partners with a Michelin-starred chef to launch a new wine tourism experience
Château Feely®, winner of two ‘Best of Wine Tourism’ trophies and producer of natural, organic and biodynamic wines, has teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Vincent Lucas to launch a unique gastronomic experience around wine.

Caro Feely, passionate about wine, and Vincent Lucas, passionate about innovative and creative cuisine, began working on a food and wine pairing collaboration in 2017.
The 2018 experience offers new flavours, the possibility of a vegetarian choice and finally, a touch of sweetness. Caro, an Irish citizen who grew up in South Africa, and Vincent Lucas, originally from Nice, are both proud of their adopted region: “the Périgord”, in the south-west of France, of its history, its food and its wine.
The experience begins with a visit to the winery followed by a tasting of 4 Feely biodynamic natural wines and 4 bites created by Vincent Lucas, to match the wines. The guests continue this journey by pairing 3 organic Bovetti chocolates, also produced in the Périgord, with 3 Feely wines. Finally, a finish, composed of either organic coffee or tea or mint freshly picked from the Feely vegetable garden. An example of food and wine pairings is the Feely Sincerity, a pure and tangy sauvignon blanc grown on limestone with aromas of fresh lemon and whose minerality is matched with peas with coriander, Granny Smith apples with green anise, cauliflower mousseline and peas.

On request, pairings can be adapted to please vegetarians.
The gastronomic pairing experience is 40 euros per person, Monday to Saturday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm by booking at least 24 hours in advance.

Feely organic, biodynamic and natural wines are sold to gourmet restaurants in Ireland and Holland, as well as in several starred restaurants in the Dordogne, in the southwest of France, where the vineyard is located. Various tours from one hour to five days, including wine training certified by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, are also possible.
The members of the Feely Family share their passion for wine and for organic and biodynamic agriculture through food and wine discoveries, guided tours around wine and the wine school. On www.ChateauFeely.com, you can buy directly books signed by the author, gift cards for the “sharing of the vine” or wines. You can also book your places for the visits, or rent one of our cottages.

High quality photos and tour details are available at Chateau Feely and their Best of Wine Tourism Gold Trophies are available on request by email at caro@ChateauFeely.com.
