Climate Crisis – free virtual event and debate Friday 26 Nov, 6pm Paris time
Join Caro Feely, organic farmer, writer and teacher online via zoom.
What is the climate crisis? How urgent is it? What we can do?
Join Caro Feely, co-founder of Chateau Feely organic, biodynamic vineyard, to explore these questions with a focus on agriculture and viticulture. Sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with ’26 Nov event’ in the heading.
Over the last month as fermentations flew along I had the privilege to do a Climate Reality Leadership course with Al Gore. It opened my eyes wider than they already were to the existential issue of our time, the climate crisis, but also to the solutions.
We saw how dramatic floods, wild fires and storms affected both Europe, North America, Russia, China and beyond this past year. When we look at the reality of the climate crisis and how little humanity has done so far to address it, you could feel extremely depressed. But it is crucial that we are not depressed but rather motivated to sort it out. We cannot rely on the politicians who are having a great time blah blah blah ‘ing as Greta Thunberg pointed out before COP26. We have to all engage.
Join with me online Friday Nov 26, 2021 06:00 PM Paris / 5pm Dublin & London / midday New York / 9am LA time for a short presentation followed by Q&A and brainstorming.
I’ll explore some of the reality of climate change, the urgency of taking action, and the reasons why we can and must. We’ll have a Q&A and some break outs to meet and chat with others on the call.
We will achieve this transformation if everyone is informed and motivated to take their individual and collective responsibility. It is up to all of us. It is totally acceptable to bring a glass of wine along. 😉
Please email email@example.com to sign up for the event. You’ll be sent a zoom link for access a few hours before the event. The event is free but reservation is essential.
