Sun and Dance at Chateau Feely’s 10th vine shareholder harvest celebration
Wines bring back memories of the conditions we experienced that year but most of all we remember the people that shared it with us. Harvest day 2018 for vine share members brings very happy memories – fabulous people, perfect weather, delicious picnic and stomping of grapes and a great harvest dinner including dancing until midnight and chatting into the early hours. Wahoooo!!

Waning moon in the background with pickers in Sauvignon blanc in foreground. We are using these delicious grapes to do a natural skin macerated orange wine. Punching it down yesterday the aromas were gorgeous.
The picking was followed by an superb picnic by Maeve Dunne, Brigit Wilson and Ros Bowles with Feely wines and Sean’s fantastic chutney.
Stomping in the afternoon with music and craic then off to Saussignac for our awards on the terrace followed by a fab dinner (Merci Luc and Martine!) and our new tradition – (thank you AnneMarie!) of Dancing the night away.
Thank you to all the wonderful people that were part of harvest 2018 and harvest weekend 2018 too. As Sean often reminds us wines bring memories of the climate we experienced that year but most of all we remember the people that shared it with us. Mille fois merci!
