It explores climate change, marriage, organic farming, biodiversity, yoga and personal awakening with a background of vineyards and wine. Secondary themes include raising teenagers as a working mother, transitioning to the empty nest and gastronomy. The book includes voyages in France, South Africa, Ireland, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom.
