We are super excited to launch two new wines as part of the range for 2024. New Wines for 2024 Mille Fleurs Orange Wine & Vivacité Cabernet Sauvignon

Feely Mille Fleurs

Feely Mille Fleurs is Chateau Feely’s first white wine fermented on the skins. For those who remember the previous Mille Fleurs, from more than a decade ago, that was a no-sulfite added white wine rather than a skin fermented orange wine.

This wine is particularly special to us as Mille Fleurs was named for Sean’s Mum whose nickname was Blossom.

Only 1950 bottles of this delicious heritage vine orange wine were made.

This wine is made with Heritage old vine Sémillon 90% and Sauvignon blanc 10%.

On the nose you will find orange blossom, marmelade, yellow peach and a hint of gunflint. In the mouth, it is fruity, smooth, vibrant, and rich, with touch of tannin. 

This skin contact organic dry white wine was hand-harvested, fermented with indignous yeast,  unfined, unfiltered and is vegan friendly.

This style of wine that is very traditional – it is the ancient technique of making white wine. It doesnt work fabulously with all varietals but we absolutely love this orange wine made from Feely old vine Sémillon.

Feely Vivacité 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

Feely Vivacité is 99% Cabernet sauvignon AOP Bergerac Rouge dry red wine. It has crunchy red fruit, cherry, and blackcurrant on the nose and in the mouth. We can feel the vivacity of nature in this delicious organic wine. This wine is hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeast and aged in stainless steel vats. It is unfined, unfiltered and vegan friendly.

What’s the difference between Feely Vivacité and Feely Vérité? Both are Cabernet Sauvignon but Vivacité is aged in stainless steel and Vérité is aged in french oak barrels.

Feely Sparkling Brut Rosé – luxury pink fizz

This charming wine is one of our favourites at the moment. We highly recommend Feely Brut Rosé for your Summer weekends and special occasions.

The vintage 2021 was perfect in terms of balance between acidity and alcohol. Fourteen months on the lees after the second fermentation then provide the depth of flavour and yeast autolysis aromas like an exceptional Champagne. The dosage was 8 grams of sugar per litre (brut is anywhere from 6 to 12 g/l) which balances the great acidity of the vintage and offsets the lees character like a charm.
